About the exhibit: 18 paper and origami bas relief framed artworks by artist Linda Stephen celebrating joyful moments outdoors – a farmers market in Arkansas, a dog walk or bike ride at Holmes Lake, ice skating at Seacrest Park, children running downhill on a tall-grass prairie path or playing at recess at historic Freeman School at Homestead National Monument (a total solar eclipse NASA broadcast site on 8/21).
The gallery also features art glass from Art Glass Creative Studio.
About the artist:
Using hundreds of handmade Japanese papers as her medium, artist Linda Stephen invents intricate 3D origami (folded paper) sculptures and paper layers to create landscapes that celebrate daily joys, from farmers markets to dog walks. Her work is exhibited nationally and is part of public and private collections on three continents. www.LindaStephen.com
